This application measures the transient operation that is brought about by a sudden stoppage to the pumps feeding a discharge pipe.
It makes it possible to introduce various protection elements throughout the pipe (boiler drums, surge tanks, one-way tanks, relief valves, etc.). It also makes it possible to adjust the section and/or celerity of propagation of the wave throughout the pipe.

It is a two-dimensional simulation model designed to analyse flood waves caused by rain or by the gradual or sudden destruction of dams and retaining walls at large water reserves.
Guad|2d generates simulations by means of finite volume numerical algorithms, thereby obtaining actual results in supercritical, subcritical or mixed stationary regimes. The start-up module includes all possible conditions (dry, wet or based on a previous simulation).
GuadCreator is the forerunner to Guad|2d with which the user will be able to prepare the simulation data needed to make the numerical calculations.
GuadView, with GIS capabilities, makes it possible to visualise raster and vector layers as well as orthophotos, together with the results of the simulation, in order to identify areas that are prone to flooding. It does so by representing the water level, depth and velocity, which enables it to analyse the data of each cell in the simulation.
